Protection and Welfare Supervisor
The role requires day to day supervision of a team of Protection & Welfare Officers alongside active engagement with Charity staff and contractors on a daily basis, fostering good working relationships and providing a number of support services; including lone worker management and incident response. The role will also require the monitoring of extensive CCTV, fire detection and access control systems to ensure the security of Charity assets alongside the safety, security and wellbeing of staff, visitors and resident animals.
A high level of both verbal and written communication is required. The ability to stay calm under pressure and act with professionalism at all times is essential. Due to the nature of the role confidentiality is imperative, alongside an awareness of data protection legislation.
The role can be physically demanding at times and requires outdoor activity both through the day and overnight. You will work a basic 40 hours per week Monday to Friday but will require considerable flexibility to be able to provide shift cover for days and nights and weekends.
The role does include some basic duties surrounding animal welfare tasks. Full training will be provided for the successful applicant.
