Community Programme Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead, motivate and coach a dynamic team who are responsible for the operational delivery of Wood Green The Animals Charity’s Community Programme.

The objective of the Community Programme is to identify and deliver an appropriate range of services to keep pets in loving homes, where this is in the best interests of both the pet and owner. This is achieved through a combination of preventative educational resources and workshops, alongside the provision of practical advice, financial support or signposting to alternative services including relinquishment.

The Community Programme Manager will seize all opportunities to connect with the community through the strategic deployment of staff and volunteers in order to reach vulnerable pets and pet owners at an early stage. The successful candidate must be able to embrace change, adapt to challenging scenarios and develop strong relationships with colleagues and community partners to deliver high impact services.

This role may include weekends and evening work when required.

Interviews will be held 21st and 22nd October 2020.
